3 Way Switch Wiring Not Working. FREE COURSE learn how three way switch circuits work. Could one of the switches be defective?
Before proceeding, make sure you are comfortable working with electrical wires and switches. Could one of the switches be defective? Stick for me. it sounds like the hot wire from the bridge, that should be connected to the switch, just isn't connected anymore. if thats the case, you don't have to take the switch out to fix it. just open up the control cavity from the back, and take a look to see if any wires.
Tried TP-Link customer service but they're taking a while to get back to me.
Three-way light switches control a light from two locations, such as from both ends of a staircase or hallway.
It could work at the switch which receives the circuit feed, but it would serve no purpose to have a neutral at the other switch. Three-way switches allow you to control a light or lights from two different locations. This FAQ is for standard models needing neutrals.
